These exquisitely crafted Edwardian earrings are each adorned with a 5.50ct bright pink Paste stone held in an elaborately patterned silver gallery. A stylised bow, encrusted with clear paste stones, crowns each earring. The bow and stones were originally part of an Edwardian necklace, and have been converted with the addition of gold hooked wires.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The intricate craftsmanship inherent in these beautiful earrings is a testament to the craftsmanship, patience and skill of the original Edwardian jeweller. They are a truly wonderful piece of historic jewellery to be treasured.
